Florence, Wines and truffle since 1885
The historical “Procacci Shop” is located in the heart of Florence, on centuries old and prestigious Via de’ Tornabuoni.
This delicatessen was founded by Leopoldo Procacci in 1885 and, due to its historical, artistic and artisan heritage, it quickly gained an excellent reputation with the Florentine population for its gastronomic delicacies made with truffles (King Vittorio Emanuele II even made the shop an official supplier to the royal family, granting its founder, Leopoldo Procacci, the right to include the royal coat of arms on his signage). Savoring these specialties continues to be a popular ritual both with Florentines and visitors.
Procacci opened two more shops, one in Vienna in 2006 and one in Milano in 2015, to continue the tradition of promoting regional Tuscan specialties in other corners of the world.
The casual setting of our wine bar offers customers the opportunity to enjoy a light aperitif from our best selection of wines by the glass accompanied by an array of traditional Procacci panini. Our wine list includes specially selected iconic Marchesi Antinori wines that are available by the glass.
Food and wine served in our bistro
The traditional panini served in Procacci Florence define Procacci’s unique identity and are available in all our bistros with the same appetizing fillings: truffled panini, panini with truffles and foie gras, truffled anchovies and butter, prosciutto crudo and truffled artichoke cream, smoked salmon and asparagus cream, brie and caramelized onions. The wine bar with its selection of fine wines by the glass, offers a simpler and lighter menu well suited to the relaxed wine bar atmosphere.
Procacci’s Gourmet Shop offers many specialty items including extra virgin olive oil, butter and truffle sauces that are just a small selection of the products available for sale in our shop. Many other Tuscan gastronomic delicacies such as pate’, sauces, honey and fruit jams have been specially produced for our refined customers.
Procacci’s menu and gourmet product selections revolve around our historic and traditional ingredients, truffles and truffle based specialties.
The bistro’s menu changes twice a year alternating with the seasons, autumn/winter and spring/summer. Weekly specials will be featured on a seasonal insert inside the menu offering the season’s best dishes and recommendations for wine pairing. The philosophy behind Procacci’s bistros is to create a casual yet sophisticated food and wine boutique.
We offers gourmet take way boxes that include panini to savor the unique flavors of Procacci at home or to share them with family and friends.
